Site Manager /Site Agent - Highways Project (Culvert Works)

TRIbuild Solutions are recruiting for an experienced Site Manager / Site Agent to oversee a highways project involving the demolition of an existing culvert and construction of a new structure.

Role Overview:
You'll be responsible for the day-to-day management of site activities, focusing on supervising subcontractors, maintaining compliance with design specifications, health and safety standards, and programme requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily site operations to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant delivery.

• Monitor subcontractor performance, ensuring works meet scope, quality, and programme.

• Enforce site H&S protocols and conduct regular inspections.

• Manage environmental controls, particularly around watercourses and demolition.

• Review subcontractor workmanship against drawings and specifications.

Essential Requirements:

• Proven experience on highways or civil engineering schemes, ideally culvert/drainage works.

• Strong background in subcontractor management and site coordination.

• Knowledge of CDM Regulations and temporary works.

• CSCS (Manager level), SMSTS, and First Aid certification.

• Confident reading and interpreting engineering drawings/specs.

• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Desirable:

• Experience with NEC contracts and small to medium infrastructure projects.

• Familiarity with digital site management tools.

Location: Botley Bypass, SO30
Rate: 43.87/hr CIS
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Circa 3 months
